I had what was supposed to be an easy uncontested divorce. If your divorce includes Military or Civil Service retirement, in my opinion this is not your attorney. During the consultation, Rick Crow told me how much experience he had and how much better he was compared to my wife’s attorneys , he knew one for many years. By the end of the divorce, I ended up feeling like I was his Paralegal. I had to review documents he stated were both draft and final documents and point out the numerous errors. Even after he “researched” civil service divorces online, I still had to correct his documents and decisions. He does not respond to calls or texts well. These attorney’s tried to to push us into a court battle and/or mediation, that’s where they make their money. My wife and I had to tell our attorneys multiple times that we will not go to court. My wife and I ended up working out the division of property on our own. After our divorce was finalized, I received an invoice for additional costs. I let Rick know that I did not think that was fair based on the amount of work I had to do for him and that I was surprised he did not know more about civil service property splits, at that time he told me I was his first divorce case involving civil service property and he still thought the additional invoice was fair. I ended up paying for his education on divorce involving civil service property division. I do not recommend him as a divorce attorney.

Rick took great care of me during a very trying time. I received the monies due to me without having to go to court. It is a blessing to find a lawyer with heart!!!!
