I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by Maverick and his team. After six months of no contact, it took me reaching out for an update, only to learn that the job was far from complete. Despite the promises made, we feel betrayed. Maverick had my loved one sign away his rights, and there has been a total lack of transparency regarding his case. My loved one is still sitting in TDCJ, unaware of the status of his own appeal until we learned, almost by accident, that we had lost. When Maverick handed the case to the appeal attorney Joseph Varela, I was told both briefs had been filed, and paperwork was sent to the client. But that paperwork never reached him. It wasn’t until three days ago that I found out about the lost appeal and that we had only 30 days to 'appeal the appeal.' Even then, the client didn’t receive the news until today. Maverick had initially told us he would be out in two weeks, but that turned into 19 months. In those months, he has missed our child’s first birthday, first holidays, and first steps. This experience has been a tragedy for our family, and I feel completely let down by this firm. Can someone explain when a lawyer's job is really done? We paid for services that left us feeling abandoned and hopeless. What we received in return was unprofessionalism, a lack of communication, and a sense of betrayal that will last far beyond this case.

Wow! I’m so amazed at how educated attorney Ray Maverick is when it comes to his practice. I kid you not! He really knows what he’s doing. I was facing some really serious charges and thought my life without a doubt was out of my control. My charges were possession which could have packed on more charges, such as transporting and possession to sale and maybe more. I was so worried and stressed ???? wasn’t able to sleep at all. A friend of mine referred me to check out this attorney. He explained that this man is one of the best when it comes to charges like I was facing.
