I'd recommend Mr. Sappanos to anyone in need of a defense attorney, not only is he excellent at what he does, he is also an honest and caring man who is well respected by his clients, colleagues, and his community. In regard to a couple of unfavorable reviews, I will first say this; the case I hired Mr. Sappanos to represent me for was in no way a “high profile” case, however he understood the ramifications of the charges I was being faced with, was with me at every court appearance, and had my case dismissed without the hassle of going to trial. In addition to having my case dismissed, he even took the time to meet with my son who hopes to become a lawyer one day. Secondly, if you’re facing a serious charge; homicide, etc., you want the best of the best representing you, and Mr. Sappanos IS the best, but do keep in mind the best is going to cost more than your average run of the mill defense attorney. Personally, you can’t put a price on your freedom, and his countless acquittals and not guilty verdicts speak for themselves. If you can no longer afford to pay your, or your loved one’s attorney, you cannot expect them to continue to represent you (or anyone) for free. A lack of finances does not warrant a poor review.
