Honestly, the best school you can hope for. The professors were great. Very nice campus, lots of student organizations. My friends and I had a lot of good times in the circle and the quad. I made many international friends, saw the great city of Chicago,... UIC is a lifestyle not just a university. The professors are great and the campus and the facilities are really nice. You will have a great education here, make many friends and engage in many activities or as little as you want. One of my favorite events is Taste of UIC. I looked forward to it every year. and don't forget your U-Pass that allows you to ride any bus or metro train (they call it the EL in Chicago which is short for elevated train). You will have fun getting all over the city with that. Oh, and get a bike for the summer. It is huge in Chicago. Look forward to critical mass bike ride every Friday afternoon.
Great place. Easy parking when classes aren't in session.. Was there for 2020 graduation and I have to say I'm glad my niece got to feel the joy of walking across a stage and was honoured to be allowed to be there and take photos..its a great campus.
The campus is ugly, but it has made great strides in the past couple of years and looks much better now. Also the school has the most difficult teachers. But this place has helped me find friends and is giving me a great education and preparing me for the future. The levels of stress are worth it. UIC has been great to me.
CDC guidelines enforced. Due to the global CORONAVIRUS outbreak pandemic. This is a educational institution for future student's to be licensed as General Dentist. Plenty of parking lot E1 for UIC COD patients. Takes insurance but ASK quality questions-first. Cash credit or debit. Very organized from start to finish.
UIC's Office of International Services is not helpful. We have been trying to get in touch with them to speak about Stem OPT. We have a few questions to ask them. They refuse to speak on a phone for a few minutes. Right now they are only responding by email which has a 7 day turnaround time. This is causing major delays and mass confusion which could be resolved by speaking on a phone for a few minutes. I know they are hard at work but obtaining a Stem OPT extension is already a stressful time... UIC's Office of International Services is not helping our stress level a this time.
