Placed a call on 1/29/21 in the afternoon and spoke with Russell Meinert about a title search and sales contract for purchasing land. Asked what his time frame and schedule for completing this would be and he said "by end of next week (2/1-2/5). He emailed me and I sent him over all the documents right away. My husband called him on Monday to ensure he had everything he needed and to find out a potential time for closing to inform the sellers. He said he had not got to it but would have some answers on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. On Wednesday after lunch, my husband called to speak with him but had to leave his name and number. I then called a couple hours later to follow up as well and was told he was no longer in the office at 4:30. I called back Thursday around 10:30 (giving him plenty of time to get into the office and the chance to return our call.) He was very rude and said I can't expect such a quick turn around. He said he had been working on and I quote "multi million dollar accounts" and just didn't have the time. I apologized that my account was not a multi million dollar account but he had set the expectations. I also explained to him that I never gave a time frame expectation, he was the one who provided times of being complete. He said he could have it done in a week, he said he would call by Wednesday, he set all the time frame expectations. I asked him to follow up and provide me a more accurate time frame and he called back and said it would be weeks and he would not continue. When I asked why, he stated because I expected it to be done in 3 days. I explained again that it was him who set the time frames and he said he would not be doing it and hung up the phone. This unacceptable treatment of a client. When I called to speak with someone regarding the treatment the secretary told me Russell has been here 24 years and apologized for him "if" he was rude. I explained it was not her place to do so. I have left my name and number for Mr. Starling to call me back to resolve this.

We are really grateful for how they handled our case. We had the pleasure of working with Lew Starling, Leo Daughtry and Jessica Carter and we had a great experience. They always responded quickly to our questions and concerns leaving no doubts behind, they made us feel very protected. The money that you spend with them is worth a million times more when you receive that peace of mind. They are a great law firm and we highly recommend them!

I had a great experience working with James Courtney Williams. My stepdaughter had a moving violation, and Mr. Williams handled it with ease at a nominal fee. His firm kept us updated frequently on the happenings of the matter and gave us implicit instructions on what my stepdaughter should be doing from start to finish. I couldn't be happier! ?

Mr Jimmy Lawrence is one of the most unassuming men I have ever met. He's brilliant and yet quietly confident . He will fight for you here in Johnston county. If you've got some business to take care of at the courthouse, might wanna get your smart on and call Jimmy Lawrence.

This is a BIG shout out to Jimmy Lawrence from this firm! Jimmy helped me with a trespassing case my ex husband had on me because I’ve been trying to find my daughter for the last 2 years, almost 3. He got the matter resolved quickly when other Attorneys could not. He is kind, he’s warm, he knows what the heck he is doing and is SMART! If you are seeking a great defense attorney, look no further. He’s amazing! Thank you, Jimmy for helping me and being kind to me when others have not been so kind. Yours truly, Ginny
