Absolutely amazing, I called and left a message with his office in March 2022 and received a call back that evening from Mr. Newman. He was very patient in listening to my problem with the IRS. He explained that it would take 6-8 weeks to complete my file and was pretty confident that he could process an offer and compromise that would fit my tax situation. Mr.Newman called me with his computations and thoroughly explained them to me before submitting my file to the IRS. I received a letter back from the IRS and I am thrilled with my results. Worked with David for over 2 years, he worked with me to file my personal returns, and more importantly write up my OIC (Offer in Comprise) documentation for my IRS past debt. While we ran into road blocks with the IRS, David was able to navigate the bureaucracy and I believe were close to getting this completely resolved.

Absolutely awful experience. I feel like David took advantage of my lack of experience dealing with the IRS. I paid David in full back in June 2021, it is now May 2022 and absolutely no progress. He doesn't call me, he doesn't email me, he doesn't send me documents UNLESS I initiate the conversation. In addition, I have to leave messages, send emails, and call several times before I even hear back from him via an email not even a phone call. I am so disappointed with this entire experience. I'm going to the BBB and I will be reporting his assistant Maria, who was very rude in her remarks to my inquiry about an update. It's so hard to get into contact with David, I decided to go to his office. Well unfortunately, you can't go to the office, because his office is in his home on the south side of Charlotte behind a gate. David, it is unfortunate about your accident and you being in the hospital. However, it speaks volumes to your professionalism and preparedness for emergencies, because your assistant said no one else could help me. Please help me understand how you operate a business and do not have a plan B for emergencie? David, I either want my money back in full or I need some results asap because a year without any kind of progress is absolutely ridiculous.

David was a huge help to me when money was stolen from my 401K. The problem was basically that the IRS was going to penalize me for early withdrawal as well as considering the withdrawal taxable income. This would have been disastrous. I retained Mr. Newman to help me resolve this situation. He successfully argued that the person who owed the taxes was not me but the thief. Absolutely everyone told me the IRS would not care that the money was stolen but David listened with great compassion to my story and worked his magic in such a way that not only was the money not considered income I received back the penalties for early withdrawal both from the state and federal government. Literally everyone else said it was hopeless, not David. Not only that but when the feds dragged their feet on my refund David intervened with his contacts when I was unable to reach anyone in the IRS through normal means. I highly recommend Mr. Newman.
