Seriously consider the reviews of the honest, poor souls who came before you, do not trick yourself into thinking things will be different for you and if you find yourself engaged with this office, record, record, record everything like I did. This will assist you in identifying any doublespeak and confusing messages and it'll help you when/if you have to fire him, file a complaint with the Utah State Bar and/or just to warn others. In my opinion and as a Disabled Veteran, his low cost approach and questionable client treatment will inevitable cost you so much more in the long run (money, emotional distress and valuable time when you are the one already in pain and seeking assistance)!

My name is Kenneth Eaton. I found David quite by chance but am very happy with the association that has developed between us.nnDavid was hired to litigate a civil matter by my wife and me. David performed his duties with great professionalism. He was very no-nonsense, articulate and precise with his legal written language. His courtroom demeanor was also precise and to the point.nnDavid doesn't hold your hand or tell you what you want to hear. He applies the law to the facts he is presented with. I have always had a good working relationship with David. He cares about what happens to his clients and works hard to make sure they are well represented. He also is willing to discount his services to veterans, and to others who need it. He also has been trained in family law in Special Master work, which is something many attorneys have not done, in order to help families who are high conflict and who need help resolving issues outside the court room.

Just like the other reviewer I got robbed by this lowlife. Drags things out and creates a bunch of irrelevant details and 'what if' situations that keep your money coming it, yet provides NO results.

Mr. Hartwig was helpful in explaining the probate process. I appreciated his advice as my situation took twists and turns. I could have taken my issue to court, and I believe Mr. Hartwig would be a force in the courtroom. I ultimately chose not to go to court and I appreciate Mr. Hartwig's willingness to push on or back off in a way that met my personal needs. Mr. Hartwig's fees were reasonable and I am pleased with his service. I will return to him in the future if the need arises.
