I recently ran into an enormous problem with licensing my 10bed assisted living. Although I had no fault in the matter (previous tenant trying to get revenge on the landlord), as the current operator/owner of the business everything would have fallen on me, which would have been extremely expensive and detrimental to my business and future in the industry. The second I found out about what was happening behind my back I IMMEDIATELY contacted attorney Jenn Wassermann. Everyone I knew recommended her to be the absolute best person to help. I can honestly say Jenn went above and beyond, although she mentioned she was extremely booked with time sensitive matters. It felt like I was her only client. I met with her the day after I contacted her and did a full consultation. I quickly realized that if there was any hope to save my business and reputation, it would be with her help. I wasted no time retaining her. The entire process was as smooth as could be. I was updated daily and Jenn did an amazing job giving me peace of mind and talking me through my options. Despite Jenn's calendar I felt like my problems were top of her list. She resolved my issue in a matter of weeks!!!! I came out on top, having no fault. I am now licensed and operating without any issues. To say I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jenn, is an understatement, I will say if you want someone that is there FOR YOU, that genuinely cares for your case and is invested directly, than you don't have any other option but to hire Jenn. I am forever grateful for what she did for me and my business. I know without a doubt had it not been for her my situation would have had the absolute worst outcome.
Gwendolyn Ann Bjornson with Davis Miles McGuire Gardner used her legal expertise to help my husband and I get our 5% deposit back from a home builder! We patiently waited 6 months since we signed the termination agreement promising a full refund, yet the home builder was still trying to delay returning it. We hired Gwen and she was so quick in taking action that the home builder returned our full deposit to us within 10 days after hiring her! She also kept us updated each step of the way and was a pleasure to speak with. We highly recommend her for your legal services!
Worst experience ever and I am not one to write negative reviews as I know they impact a business greatly but I felt I had to get it out there and warn others. I was referred through legal shield (I've paid them $20 a month for 12 years and did not need any assistance prior) was told I would get a discounted rate. Mr. Gardner quoted $3500 which I paid up front for an easy divorce. No children, no joint accounts or assets and we both agreed to part ways easily and agreed on everything prior. Somehow they ran the bill up to 12k and took 5 months to get it done. If you call and leave a voicemail, $120 for them to listen to it and when I would get a call back he would talk in circles running up the time. A simple email question turned into a drawn out letter with a response costing $300 plus. I asked to switch lawyers to a more affordable partner. Was charged $300 to switch. She was resigning and had 4 days left. She couldn't finish in time so was charged another $300 to switch again for something out of my control. As of a divorce is not stressful enough, this firm made it an absolute nightmare. Wouldn't recommend him to anyone, not even my ex! Save yourself your sanity and thousands of dollars and go elsewhere. Mr.Gardner does not care about anything or anyone, only making thousands off people going through a traumatic, life changing event. Absolutely disgusted that they are OK taking advantage of people in a vulnerable time.
I had the pleasure of having Taylor Calmelat work on my case this past year. She was the utmost professional and kept my case moving along at a prefect pace. I was not only thrilled with the process but the outcome as well. I highly recommend her and her firm!
The first person that I dealt with was an attorney by the name of Jason Erwin. He was very professional and very attentive and did everything you could to help me. However I was referred to an attorney out of Tucson named German Yusofov. My case involved a transmission destroying my transmission having happy my car towed to an impound without my permission. The attorney took my case and I had to pay a $2,500 retainer. I have the first sue the tow company to get my car back and then pay 33 hundred dollars to get my transmission repaired. I ended up Maxine all of my credit card and then having to take out two loans. I agree to arbitration to settle the case against aamco the arbitrator awarded me no more than $2,000 in attorney fees which was really and it's an insult. In total I received $7,500 in damages. The attorney had the defendant send the check to him and his name. I suffer from cancer and PTSD, and fell behind on the fees. My credit was in the tank after all of my credit cards were maxed out and I was under the impression that I would at least be able to get out of the hole with the settlement. However the attorney took the checks and told me that I was only going to receive $700. If he was going to take my keys out of the judgment. After arguing with him he agreed to give me 2300 dollars. LegalShield tries to give people the impression that they are for the little people when in essence they are just another scam organization with all of the attorneys taking advantage of poor people through their referrals. It's not about Justice it's about just us getting paid. $2,300 didn't even cover the retainer fee. And I know that I paid some fees and I was hoping that the attorney would show some mercy even after all that I had been through over the past year-and-a-half by losing my car and losing my means of employment. It didn't matter, it was screw you I want my money. Stay away from this it's get make organization and the returnees that prey off of poor and unfortunate people.
