Bill Delaney is the most dishonest lawyer I have ever hired. After I paid him $30,000 to represent me as a plaintiff in a breach of partnership case, he agreed to flat rate his fees at $30,000. Eventually, we prevailed in the matter and won a $23,000 judgement in May 2016. Bill Delaney collected the judgment on my behalf but to this day (February, 23 2017) he refuses to give me the money. He claims that the litigation costs exceeded the $30,000 and today he said that I would have to sue him to get my $23,000. In addition, Bill Delaney requested unrelated services from my business and ran up a $5,000 bill in July and August of 2016. To this day, Bill Delaney refuses to pay me for the services my business provided. If you are considering hiring Bill Delaney or any attorney at Delaney Law, you should not walk away, you should run.
