Mr. Devolder and his team made me feel like they were there for me and not just "doing a job". Other lawyers I spoke to before meeting with Mr. Devolder did not make me feel very confident that they were there to help me. It felt like the other lawyers only intended on "checking the box" and I did not like that. Susie was very patient with me in answering all of my questions and was very forgiving when I became emotional once or twice ;-) Whenever there was a concern, they handled everything as quick as the law will allow and did not delay. Mr. Devolder is very knowledgeable and I felt like he would fight for me and my family if it came to it. I will be keeping them on as my team for any future family legal matters.

Beware: This firm claims to accept credit card, but will suddenly change policy based on who you are and require only cash or check. When we requested our files we were specifically told that "in our situation" Elizabeth prefers cash or check and would not accept card under any circumstances. This as a previous client and having had paid balance in full, on time. The sudden change in policy (despite a notice at the front of desk saying they accept cards) felt targeted and out of no where. This experience months after being her client only adds to the long list of offensive treatment we experienced at this firm. If you're looking for compassion, understanding, and cultural competency, I would go elsewhere.
