I Used this company back in 2022. I am writing this review now because only in 2024 my situation got resolved. My general impression about the company was good: nice office, good reviews, and very nice statements from the lawyers on the website. However, the reality appeared to be very different. I felt like Mr. Kouffie hardly read my case. In fact, I mostly worked with Juan Jimenez (who did a great job, by the way). That was the only positive moment of my cooperation with this company. I was unprepared for the court, Mr. Kouffie stopped by the room where I was sitting with paralegal and spent 15 minutes total with us. That was a couple of days before the court. He did not prepare me for possible questions that the judge could ask, he seemed to be in a hurry and treated me and my case like something very unimportant. But the biggest surprise came on the court day. Right after the beginning of the hearing it appeared that the Prosecutor offered a settlement ( which I was not aware of at all and was never asked if I actually wanted to do that) and Mr. Kouffie agreed to the settlement. It made my situation even worse and it took me almost 2 years to get back on track. But who cares, since I paid the money! I would recommend thinking twice before going with this company. This whole situation gave me a better understanding of why people dislike lawyers. Too bad I can not put zero stars.

Douglas Kouffie is a fraudster who took over my case on a false premise that he’s a PERM immigration attorney. He’s not well versed in the process in fact he’s so incompetent that I had to hold their hand throughout the whole process me being the client. After wasting 2 yrs and $12k on the process I asked for legal fee to be refunded as I had paid all of it (for all 3 steps) upfront and he couldn’t get me through even the 1st step. He promised that he would get that to me and accepted his incompetence. That was 1 yr ago and I’m yet to get any feedback from him for his miserable failure and continues to dodge my phone calls.
