I never usually leave reviews but Bruce deserves more than 5 stars. I’ve been going through a child custody case for over two years with my sons mother, which had hired a law firm prior to Bruce and they didn’t work out at all costing me well over 80k. I found Bruce by someone who recommended him and just in a short period of time bruce has done more than the law firm I had. The customer service is more than excellent, he always replies to my emails and phone calls with no problem, he explains things just how they are without sugar coating and is direct to the point, he’s very honest with me & and handles everything that makes me understand where my case is. One of the biggest factors as well all the charges for my case have been perfectly described without any extra charges that are unnecessary. I would highly recommend Bruce for your family court case.
I was told this was the best divorce attorney around. I was divorced in 2008. I have been married for 17 years. This attorney told me I was not allowed to receive alimony after I was married for 17 years, he said that was not long enough, because he was very good friends with my ex-husband’s attorney. I did write to the bar but I want other people to know how he is sometimes, I never received any child support for my children I did not receive after being married 17 years I did not receive any of his retirement which I should have. I did not receive anything. I ended up paying for 90% of the stuff just because he was good friends with my ex-husband‘s attorney. This is pretty sad. What attorneys do you have to pay them money to help you get a divorce they can’t don’t tell you the truth through the whole thing. It’s really sad.
Judging by my experience with Mr. Arrick, I could just write a simple review as others have done, and simply say he’s the best divorce attorney in town. But I will not do that here. Divorce cases are very unique; there’s a child support guideline, a shared parental and other laws which will be at play in a trial without a jury. This means that if you take an ambulance chaser to represent you in court, the judge will have a field day with you, and as soon as that final judgment is signed, you will regret that day for the rest of your life. There are the best, the good and the bad lawyers. The best ones will simply not take your case if you’re not worth to them over $100k. So how do you know which lawyer is the best within your budget if you don’t go through a bunch of them like I did? Simple answer, there’s no other way. I went consulting a bunch and fired three of them who did nothing but take my money and got me the worse deal of my life. I consider myself fortunate to have been referred to Bruce by a co-worker and have my case taken as screwed up as it was. Making a long story short, after six years of being constantly taken to court by the ex, I finally found peace of mind with the family firm of Bruce Arrick. You have two choices, be a fool like me and experiment with thieves like I did or go straight to a 36-year experienced divorce attorney as Mr. Arrick. You decide.
Bruce is a great lawyer! I honestly recommend him
