Despite not needing to as the buyer, I purchased a home in Champaign while I was staying in Sacramento California (with nothing more than a virtual walk-thru! ;D). Because of my exposure, I was looking for a really fair minded, professional, organized law firm that could take me from earliest negotiations right on through to final sale! And this is what Maatuka Al-Heeti Emkes and her amazing staff did for me! After coming out of a 30-year marriage and subsequent divorce, they made me feel certain, assured -- they made me feel empowered! Gave me the drive to finish something I'd never done alone and wasn't sure I could do! They helped me make a start on a brand new life and with that, they helped me build a home. =) And I will tell you this much, as the newly single, scared and unsure, price was absolutely a factor (anyone who tells you any different is a Rockerfeller of the atypical kind ;D). But MAE Law Firm (as they often call it) was absolutely spot on as far as that score! They were so fairly priced, and for all of my worries, they made me feel like very special client, even though they'd never be able to pick me out of a crowd! Even though I'd never spent a moment in their offices! It looks like there has been some kerfuffle here - that I absolutely cannot speak to! -- but I just wanted to say that from my experience and in everything that happened for me, my experience was very dissimilar to those in the negative. And price-wise, $500 was my entire bill for the time and attention Ms. Emkes gave to my project. In comparison to her competitors, it was well below any other quote I'd received.

I would highly recommend Kyle Emkes. Explained things on a level that we could understand. Just a very nice person. His staff was very friendly and helpful. This made everything very easy for us. Has helped us with several things and each time we were very satisfied with the service we received!!!

Going through a terrible divorce Jennifer Zang made matters worse for me and didn’t help my case at all. Jeffrey Freeman was a a lot better at his job.

We are SO thankful for Kyle Emkes! He is good for our family planning and our community. Highly recommend!
