K. Chapman and K.Gray were the best things about this firm. Horrible communication. T. Paxton and J. Biggs often took a week or two to respond to an email/voicemail. I sometimes had to forward the original email and CC almost everyone to get a response. She has a nasty attitude. 8 days before my hearing, I reached out to make sure that everything was in order and was told that they didn't have my medical records from my PCP and neurosurgeon. I had to contact both and was sent receipts that the records were sent in months prior but hadn't been opened. So, of course the link was expired and I had to get the records myself and email them to the lawyer. By the grace of God, I received a fully favorable decision but could have received an OTR decision if all of my records had been submitted timely. Now they are charging me for some of the records that I had to get myself and send to them. They also send reminders After the due date or appointment date. After they get paid, they stop All communication about your back pay even though they can access the info. I don't recommend them.

I advise everyone please don't mess with this law Firm especially since the late David Downward is no longer with us. Brandon Chapman is a very bias and non effective when it comes to individuals with a claim.Hes very rude and never communicate with the clients Please seek another firm I want to say more but I m so disappointed right now I can bight concrete

I just received superior service & results using Downard and Associates PLLC. They stayed in constant contact, gave great explanations of the process & walked me through the process step by step. I give them a 10 star rating.

Very easy to work with. I was informed every step of the way. I was properly prepared for my hearing with SS. Mr. Akers is a true professional and knows what he is doing. I highly recommend them.

I am still in the middle of disability claim first one was turned down. Working on the second. I would appreciate more communication from the staff. It seems like they just fill out the paperwork for you and send it in. I am not a paperwork person so I guess they filled the paperwork out correctly. We will see. I will know in about 60 days is what I’ve been told by the attorney that handling my case I will keep you updated as this has been going on close to four years.
