Duane E. Burgess Attorney At LAW

Was under impression that the initial call I made to him in regards to if I wanted to hire him was a free consultation. Instead I was charged $107.50 for a phone call and an email they sent me. I never agreed to hire him, I simply wanted to see what he charged and if would be able to represent me in the case I had. When I called regarding the bill the lady was rude and unprofessional saying that they don't do free consultations. She didn't offer a discount or to remove it even though I never hired them in any manner. Do not even call them unless you want to be out at least $100 for that call.

He told me after looking at my case before I made a deposit that he doesn't take cases he doesn't win...after $4000. He then tells me it's a bad case to drop it. He asked only five questions at the deposition and was never prepared or new my case. Felt taken because he knew and had taken cases for the people I was suing. I felt him more on their side than mine. Very disappointed.

Bland. He most likely live off his public pretender role.

Mr. Burgess is a nice and helpful lawyer.

This man is a force to be reckoned with!!!
