My husband called their Sutton, NE. location to find out if they handled estates, the lawyer then said since we were in the Omaha area, would he want to do business up here, and Terry said yes. His dad got a bill for $132 (Terry didn't know about this for quite awhile) for that short interaction. The Omaha location was supposed to reach out, they never reached out, Terry then contacted them. They talked , they sent an email with their response (for some reason, neither of us saw it) and then Terry got a bill for over $1800.00 for his dad (his mom had passed), and just a list of what they accomplished, in the email. They NEVER called Terry, Terry had called, L/M's for the lawyer(twice) and emailed them (this was all before the bill), the lady finally called back. Our view is this was all handled very unprofessionally, and the bill was plenty heavy with no breakdown of time spent on their "research". Julie Rosenquist
I've used them 3 times over the last 5 years. In the first case, they made an error on how a settlement would be divided, costing me a few thousand dollars. Mistakes happen and I gave them the benefit of the doubt because they did an otherwise acceptable job. Second case was resolved without issue or major complaints. Third and final case will be the last time I hire them. It is my opinion that the law at the crux of my case was never properly researched. Weeks (and thousands of dollars) into my case, their top employment lawyer mentioned that she'd put a legal assistant on the task of reading the law. After that I sent them an email with a ton of details on said law, pointing to precise elements that supported my arguments, but never got a response. When the bill arrived, it lacked details that I think are relevant. There was no hourly rate. It was just a list of what they had done such as "Discussed matter XYZ" and then a massive number at the bottom. I will look elsewhere for future legal help and I recommend that others do the same.
My fiance and I bought a house back in 09 paid it off in 2012 and in 2022 found out the correct papers weren't done and had to "redo" some for the tune of $416. What in the hell?? If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Hope I paid for the drinks tonight at the country club....
Called for legal advice over the phone. Got billed $355 for jus asking questions. Then the attorney avoided me. What a ripoff. Won't ever refer them. Bad lawyers!
These guys are awesome to deal with, and they are very prompt on communication! 5 star all day, keep it up! S.B Omaha
