Proceed with caution. We paid a $4000 retainer to Elizabeth Rome and months later were told that the court would not accept our case because it was a jurisdiction issue. I do know that jurisdiction can be an issue, which is why we hired an attorney. I do expect to pay for services but feel that she should have known we didn’t have jurisdiction way before we spent $4000. I asked her to refund half of our money, she told me that she didn’t know if she even had that much money in her account. I was shocked by her unprofessionalism.
