Largely funded by the heritage foundation, this ‘institute’ works to spread misinformation on climate science in the name of ‘free-market’ values. It’s full of BS.

This is a libertarian thinktank that takes statistics and facts and twists them beyond recognition and beyond truth into partisan lies fed straight into Fox news. Evil does not begin to cover what these people do for money. The millions of dead and extinct animals and plants, to say nothing of humans affected by climate change, did not die to have these shameless moneygrubbers lie through their coffee-stained teeth and disrespect their memory, our planet, and every one of us. Koch money and greed meet here, in this little building in Arlington Heights.

The Heartland Institute is a remarkable resource that effectively provides a platform for clear-eyed analyses on a variety of topics with perhaps climate issues being the most important. There is a disturbing frequency of censorship throughout the politicizing of all science, especially climate issues, and the Heartland Institute consistently exposes that censorship with hard facts and thoughtful process. I see them as a critical educational entity.
