I want to take the time to leave a detailed review. 2024 I had to reach out Ellen, who was referred to me by a friend. I had terrible issues going on with my ex, and our daughter after I had made the decision to move out due to a extremely toxic environment, and our daughter getting older.It was getting worse and worse so I reached out to Ellen. I initially spoke with her secretary Linda who is a saint, and extremely HELPFUL. As the months continued on with numerous court dates, conferences etc. Ellen was the most helpful, and prepared attorney I could of ever asked for. Her focus was my daughter, as was mine through the entirety of this custody battle. Every time we walked out of a hearing, I was winning a little bit at a time. The big day came where I had to fight a relocation attempt. When that day came Ellen was very professional, focused, extremely well prepared, provided me with great legal advice, and also LISTENED to all of my evidence etc. To say she is the best would be cliché I guess, but she really is. I couldn't of asked for anyone better. In the end my daughter was not moved away, amongst other great things. If you need an attorney who is going to listen, make your child the focus, not the parents, and FIGHT for you as well (this doesn't mean screaming in court, or outlandish tactics etc) then you need to have her represent you right away. I have had Ellen for many years. She has always been honest and straight forward with me. She is professional and knows her way around the system. It’s hard to find people like her. I will always recommend Ellen. 10/10

I first spoke to Linda her assistant who was wonderful. Based on my interaction with her I was convinced working with Ellen would be right for my mediation needs. Then my ex and I met with Ellen and in 3 sessions we settled our issues and got divorced. I couldn't recommend this firm any higher. They were professional, thorough, caring and reasonably priced

I had scheduled a call with Ellen Kingsley, she was professional, prompt, super knowledgable, down to earth, and really focused what was on the best interest of my children. She was willing to give me all of the guidance I needed over the phone without spewing talk about fees and timeframes. She has a foundation in social work and you can feel her empathy for your situation. I would hire her over and over again with how she dealt with my delicate situation.
