I went to Mike when I found out my husband had Alzheimer’s and then cancer… Then I found out that we had not paid taxes and I needed help desperately. I went to Mike as he was told to me by my CPA at that time as an excellent attorney…as I was thinking of filing for bankruptcy. He gave me a bill for three thousand dollars to file for the bankruptcy…I paid that and he gave me the paperwork and I never heard from them again…I fax documents I called the office and I was beyond words as I had a sick husband and a house that was going to be taken by the IRS and he dropped me and never contacted me nor his office staff regarding the bankruptcy I paid for. I searched the newspapers to see if it was ever filed to no avail at this point my husband was too sick and I was too tired to deal with him. Asked through letters and faxes since he didn’t file for some refund since he never filed my bankruptcy…never to this day a response. My husband has since passed but what he did in the name of a lawyer will long be remembered. I just pray someone will read this before contacting Mr Mike Elliot’s office

I engaged with Mr. Elliott for a simple estate at the beginning of 2017. Communication was satisfactory in the first couple weeks of dealing with him but I have not heard from him in months. He fails to respond to emails and never returns calls. He had someone working for him in his office a few months ago that was responding to requests for information but that person is evidently no longer with Mr. Elliott's firm as emails to them are being returned as undeliverable now. I am completely in the dark about the status of the estate and have contacted the North Carolina Bar to assist in getting this situation resolved.

Mike is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of business law, real estate, and bankruptcy. He handles all my personal real estate closings and does an exceptional job!

Terrible communication. A simple estate matter that should have been handled in just a few months is taking years because we have to email him and call him for MONTHS before we get any action or response.

Mike can be a little busy but he is extremely reliable and provides sound advice that I can use within my company.
