Mrs. Hargrave did an awesome job handling my case. She gave me a peace of mind throughout my case as she is very knowledgeable and tells it like it is. She handled my case with great care but was aggressive when needed Five stars is not enough in my opinion. Highly recommended! Thank you for what you have done thus far!!!!

Ms. Hargrave took over mid-case after my first attorney retired. She has been an absolute pleasure to work with, working around my work schedule after hours and answering every call/email in a timely manner no matter how minute my concern was. My case was ultimately dissolved and out of everyone involved she was the ONLY person to apologize for the emotional distress my family was put through. If I could thank her a million times I would but words can not express my gratitude. She is genuine and passionate about about her work!!

Cassandra Hargrave represented myself and my daughter in a custody dispute and I am overjoyed with the results. Ms. Hargrave was thorough, communicative and most of all, KIND! She listened, she advised and she prevailed in my case protecting my daughter from being dragged back and forth across the country. I highly recommend her valuable services to anyone facing a family law issue.

Cassandra Hargrave was appointed as my child's GAL, during our custody trial, during COVID. In my experience with GALs, they are chosen to represent the best interest of the child. They are to conduct home visits, interview both parents, and their client, the child. She did all of those things. I expressed to her that my child's father was emotionally abusive, aggressive, narcissistic, hostile, and mentally abusive. I provided her with examples of this behavior and proof from his interactions with my child. After speaking with my child's father, she obviously took his side and encouraged that my child visit him. He kept beyond what was agreed, she did nothing to prevent that. During the custody hearing, she called me poisonous and decided that my child would be better off living with her father, simply because I did not allow her to visit him during a Pandemic. She agreed with the court, that temporary visitation for the father should be every other month for 6 months. The father lived in Maryland, and Ms. Hargrave was content with my child being transported monthly to another state, during COVID and school year. It put emotional trauma on my child. Throughout the 6 months, the father was emotional abusive, threatening, hostile, and aggressive to both myself and my child. Ms. Hargrave was fully aware of these actions. Moving forward, the father has been indicted for first degree murder of his wife, in the house that Ms. Hargrave felt was in her best interest. She never checked in on her client after learning about the murder. Long story and complaint short, Ms. Hargrave as GAL will not do what is best for your child. She is unable to be unbiased and objectively represent your child. It is unfortunate the VA Beach court system is unable to see the disservice she is doing to children. Removing children from stable, loving, and caring homes to put in them abusive and toxic environments seems to be how she makes the best recommendation for her clients, the children. I pray that she is convicted by her actions towards children of God and does better.

Cassy is everything you could ever want in an attorney! She is highly communicative and sent us extensive updates so we knew what was happening since there were a lot of moving parts in our case. Her passion and willingness to dive into the depth of our situation set us up for the best result possible. When Cassy committed to something for our case, she always followed through. She is proactive and thoughtful, tracking all details and comes to court organized and prepared to deliver. Other than the basics, this is the first situation my family has had in which we've needed to retain a lawyer. We hired someone different first and quickly learned the qualities that matter most in an attorney and Cassy has them all! We highly recommend her and would work with her again should we need an attorney in the future.
