I went to their law offices very naive. Never had retaining a lawyer before. I just assumed that a hired so called professional and so called "best specialist most cases won in DUI fighting, famous, on TV, consultant and wanna be expert " only 7 % of cases actually go to trial. Ya because know one can afford their $100,000 BS!!! That's why only 7 % probably go!!! Anyway I digress and continue on to say that I was told that my case seemed pretty easy. Even the DA was asking for further continuation, which in my mind would seem promising usually they have it all figured out and it's in the best of the accused to wait it out on continuations for a better deal in most cases I would think. Well. I'd all ready fired me public defender before hiring Eugene Ellis. So I thought for sure it can't be worse than what I was being offered. Wrong!!! Almost a year later of gut wrenching stress of a DUI and several high dollar wages paid for to be represented by a flunky associate because I didn't have just a $100,000 laying around somewhere for the "big guns" as I was told I had to just cut my losses and take the same deal no difference once so ever the public defender was offered!!!! Just to be done and be able to move on. nExcept with a lot less money that I coulda used for fines and everything associated with a DUI. So please people don't get roped by the old razzel and dazzle propaganda these people try and sell you. It's an expensive show and not worthThe entertainment or money !!!!!wish I didn't even have to give one star !!!
