The Experian app is a great app to use if you are trying to increase your credit score and build your credit. This app is a friendly-user app that alerts and encourages engagement and identifies items that can potentially affect your credit score either way. The reality of your actions and habits appears chronologically and in real-time. The Experian app is like you looking in the mirror and reflecting. What you see is a reflection of your actions from the present, past and future. Also, Experian tailors products and promotions through identification, patterns and engagement. So, what's your next move? Be curious and stay cautious.
I have called several times to unfreeze my credit report. A robot answers and gave two options, go to their website, which I tried a few times and got nowhere, or write a letter. It is impossible to speak to an agent to get any help, I don't think they have any human agents and don't care about really helping the customer. The robot asks for questions to help and does not understand the question. I find Experian to be a waste and they should not be in business. They are plain awful.
I have been on two of their data breaches class action and guess what we got for all that grief nothing I’m sure the attorneys got something and they probably deserved it. They worked hard to send this to court but they didn’t get a damn thing for the victims and personally, I believe that Experian is in bed with the cyber criminals. Do you have any idea how many substantial data breaches they’ve had at least four, so it leads me to believe they never bothered to put any cyber security on their systems whatsoever. Why would they? Additionally, I believe that each and everyone of us should be compensated because Experian, Equifax and Trans Union are making money off our information. We should get a cut of that. How do they like those apples?
This is the worst company ever they have no way to take to a live agent at all. My account has been blocked for 2 months and I keep getting the automated lady machine that does not help AT ALL it’s really frustrating. I want to cancel my Experian because of this and I can’t. I wish I can give its customer negative zero stars
Many, Many years ago I set up credit freezes across all the reporting agencies and while the other two are easy peasy, Experian continues to be a nightmare to manage. The website will NOT allow me to logon/recover/re-create my account and does not give adequate information to remedy this situation. When I found a customer support number it is simply a phone tree that runs you around and provides NO recourse to talk to a human if it can't solve your problems. If a company is going to provide a service they need to support it in a manner that does not deny customers access to their own tools such as a credit freeze. I will be filing complaints with the AG's office in both California and my state.
