Family Law Facilitator

Just came from this place. Had my papers in order from their website. The family business office sent me next door because they insist you have to have a facilitator. I just did a case in LA where I had my papers in the exact same filing and clerk checked. So many people clerks here working the windows no people in line. The vibe is lazy lol. They said if I e filed as well and said SD doesn't use the green e filing when its on the county's site. What a joke who ever is running this court house needs to hire people that actually knows things and how to go above and beyond not basic info. People actually need help

The entitlement of those who expect to be provided with free legal services as if they are paying top dollars is laughable. These are VOLUNTEERS with some low paid staff. Your “my tax dollar this or that “ is none sense. They don’t have to provide this service to any of you. That being said, if you need help these people do their best to help “the attorneys, paralegals and support staff”. Again don’t expect undivided attention… if that’s what you want then go pay $1000’s to an attorney..

The people here must really hate their jobs. I called multiple times and would be on hold for over an hour just for someone to pick up and hang up on me in my face and another to have an attitude the entire time I'm on the phone with him. Some people just need to be fired and replaced with people who appreciate the privilege to go to work every day. Update: The counselors here are extremely biased. I went to mediation here a couple days ago and throughout the entire mediation the mother would tell her lies and whenever I would attempt to tell my side of the story she would stop me everytime and not allow me to explain what really happened. It was apparent that she was biased because whenever I spoke, she would immediately limit my conversation and allow the mother to ramble on with her lies.

Family Law Facilitator office has very rude staff. I scheduled a video appointment and the "attorney" assigned to me emailed me 1 hour before to change the time of the appointment, so I changed my work breaks accordingly. She ended up not calling until the original time set. Then after speaking with the "attorney", I left with some of the poorest legal advice I've ever received. She was arrogant, talked over me and basically told me everything that could go wrong despite having a very strong case. The employee's at these governmental offices don't want to help custodial fathers. The judge's on the other hand are pretty fair.

I can't beleive my 8 year old daughter life is determined by a system without control quality or guard rails. 45 mins meeting with a total stranger determines the next 12 years of my daughter’s life. Every due process system employees that effects peoples rights should have a way to record this process. Many places in California removed the suggestions of mediation due to lack of quality control. The report the maditor was almost complete misleading and misrepresented. Now i have to spend 80k to reverse the process of this damage in court. I can't beleive my tax money is paying for this.
