Though they claim to be a boutique firm, I had more of a flea market experience, sifting through rubbish for a gem that never materialized. My first attorney at this firm, Cynthia, stopped returning calls and e-mails due to a "personal problem" that led her to leave the firm. This was after she showed up to court unprepared, got steamrolled by opposing counsel and was repeatedly admonished by the judge to stop mumbling and please speak up. Desiree, the managing attorney said "lawyers are people too" and assured me that I would be in good hands with Karen, another staff attorney. Like a fool, I gave them another chance. Mind you, Desiree says all the right things and seems quite empathetic. She was the entire reason I signed with this firm. But this was a bait and switch. They have various subpar, salaried attorneys overloaded with cases. It turned out Karen was a hair better than Cynthia, but not much. Every time we spoke she'd forgotten the particulars and players in my case. I had to repeat myself on a constant basis. Moreover, she refused to listen to me and attempted to push me into modifying the court ordered custody schedule in my ex's favor without just cause. When I spoke to Karen about my concerns, she yelled at me and patronized me, explaining that I was confused and she felt a need to "educate me." Just to be clear, I have an MA from Cal. She also used fear tactics to attempt put me in my place. That's a low blow when my children's safety and best interests are at stake. I had to stay focused and use reason against MY OWN ATTORNEY. Simply put, an attorney should never raise there voice to a client or ignore their wishes. I terminated representation with this firm in writing and they've opted not to respond which is precisely the level of service I expect from Foothill.

We had a great experience with this law group. My father needed assistance with a name change on birth certificate. We worked with Marian Abboud who was very courteous & diligent. She was great with answering our questions and with consistent follow-up. The attorney who appeared at the court for the hearing was very personable. Thank you Foothill Law Group!

I cannot say enough good things about The Foothill Law Group. This team is wonderful! They supported me through a challenging divorce and death. They went above and beyond the Call of Duty. I called Desiree for legal advice and she was extremely helpful. She spent a lot of time explaining things to me and seemed like she cared about my situation. Other attorney's I spoke to seemed like they didn't care. I gave Desiree my case and she helped me come out on top. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking legal or mediation services.

Complete incompetency here. Supposedly, they had a case manager who was supposed to be a point of contact for clients. Low and behold, there was no case manager who reached out along the process about services rendered nor any sort of documents to be sent. One of the attorneys, Remee, is also unresponsive when asked about any sort of follow up after SIX months. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
