Don't waste your money, she will charge for everything. Some people said they were charged for ink and paper, so was I and never saw any paper, had to print out my own documents. I will say the staff a very nice. She did nothing but line her pockets, had to negotiate it myself and paid thousands of dollars. And now I'm right back where I started after the divorce battling again for the same thing I went to her for, she should have done her job and made sure that this didn't happen again for that kind of money I paid her. I wouldn't be surprised if I get a bill for this review.
I have had a great experience with Freda. Any legal advice and process with my case she helped me get exactly what I needed to get done with ease and I would definitely use her again. Her firm was easy going and very knowledgeable and got me the speedy decisions I needed and stood tall in the court room. Amazing service
Worst! Don't waste your money. $13k and 9 months. Cancelled mediation by her!!!! And let us believe they didn't even show up!!!! No wonder she wouldn't ask for her fees paid. Then. Month after divorce. We receive a statement saying we had $1500 left in our account and still nothing. Just do it yourself!
Worst attorney ever. She opened a dm case as my attorney knowing there were 2 other cases. She was not only a waste of my money but one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. She works for the courts in my opinion. I have requested my files and she refuses along with her office personal. What they didn't realize is I recorded the little girl who answered the phone. I asked her if they still had my records and she looked in their system and told me yes. Then afterwards fredda wouldn't release my file to me.
I have dealt with Ms. McSwane for years as a colleague. She is an excellent attorney. She knows her cases; she does not gin up legal work to run up legal fees, and she picks the correct issues to litigate. I understand first hand that many family law clients are not happy no matter what the results, but Freda is a gem.
