To whom it may concern, Read “Chaz Keyes” review. It is SPOT ON, my son is the same child referenced by “Kelly” in this thread. I’m going to say the one time I was invited to sit in on a session, I had questions as to differences I noticed in my son’s behavior with me vs. when he was with his mom. I asked for various validations as to what was being said regarding my son. I too got the “I’m the one with the degree, I have XX years of practice and experience”. It was followed by condescending remarks of my career in law enforcement followed with comments of “Ya’ll always act like you have all the answers and you don’t”, “You’re exactly like she said you would be” while pointing at my ex. I merely wanted answers as to a possible holistic approach to my son’s particular situation. Instead I got talked down and the only solution demanded was to be prescription / medically based. Mind you, the “Over an hour” driven by my ex does not account for the multiple other doctors she sought. Those doctors she expressed a lack of faith in as they advised her my son was just “Acting like a normal boy his age”. I’ve always wondered if someone doctor shopped until they got the one that would give them what they want. Blend to that the conflict of interest in treating his mother as well as him, together and separate. Overall, questionable ethics and just generally unprofessional in behavior and mannerism. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Dr. Miller is brilliant. I have been seeing him for a year now and I am a much better version of myself. I read the reviews that don’t like him or his style but my impression is that he has seen it all so at his age and level of experience, he can diagnose quickly and ACCURATELY. He is old school, which I love but is still very knowledgeable about old and new drugs. He seemed to know me better than I know myself. He asked many many questions and listened to my answers. I didn’t want to leave my appointment because I wanted to soak in all he had to say. He always calls me back if I call with a question. He listens to me when I tell him I am concerned about a particular drug and offers solutions. I am so glad my primary care doctor recommended him to me. I will continue seeing him until he retires which I hope is not soon. May God Bless this man, he truly cares. Also, his staff is amazing and extremely caring. The whole experience has been nothing but positive.

I have been going to Dr. Miller for about 4 years now. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Miller is the best.

Still requires masking in 2024. Shouldn't a psychiatrist know the psychological damage that perpetuating fear can cause? Also refuses to prescribe digitally because "calling and canceling if a prescription is not in stock takes lots of time." When I confronted him about this and he was not willing to try to figure out a way to solve the problem he closed my son's file ("because I said I was looking for a new psych"). Fragile egotistical man.

Maybe I was blessed that the medication I was prescribed has completely changed my life for the better or he's just that good at what he does. Either way I felt very understood and he gave a lot of explanations as to why he was diagnosing me and why gave good explanations on the different types of medication and his reasoning as to why he suggested certain ones. He was very clear that if something wasn't making me feel good that I immediately call and explain what was going on. Also he encouraged that I visit a therapist so that I can communicate concerns about my medication with them and have a second opinion. I can see why people have an issue with being cut off, but I think for me, anytime he cut me off it was to ask specific questions and clarification, so it made sense. Either way, not every doctor is gonna be the right fit but he definitely was the right doctor for me. Sometimes you need a second or third opinion and he'll give you a list of people you can visit if you feel unsure about his diagnosis.
