Gene T. Moss

I've known Gene Moss for years and years. He represented several family members, plus I have referred several people and they used him. He doesn't tell you no bs. He is straight forward and upfront. He is a excellent attorney and very respected by the judges. Gene and his associates is the go to attorneys. I will say this he is going to tell you exactly how it is and you might not like or want to hear what he has to say. Because it's the TRUTH. Needed a quality attorney at a reasonable price . Got the reasonable price , yet didn’t get the quality attorney that I needed . Had checked with 3 other attorneys in the Duval County area before hiring Moss , older attorney with what would be thought to be a wiser attorney , WRONG ! The other attorneys said he was a putt putt attorney , not a good attorney , yet did show empathy and compassion , so because of his price I did have him represent me , never on time , yet did show up , because of him being what I would call a wimpy attorney I feared for being incarcerated so did not want him to represent me during a trial and went with a plea bargain . I had already spent 10k to a bail bondsman and 5,000 to another attorney to represent me with DCF then realizing 9 months later that I was also brought up on criminal charges . Just goes to show that you get what you pay for . After getting 3 years probation in a plea bargain , My Moss led me to believe he would try to get the court charges for me removed as my probation suggested he may be able to do , this starred in January of 2019 and now November 2019 after no less than 20 calls to him by my wife , the bail bondsman , and the probation officer HE HAS DONE NOTHING OTHER THAN TELL US ALL HES WORKING ON IT ... He’s 70 or 72 years old , I’m 63 , I may die before he ever does a thing in getting this resolved , I will have to pay this 717 dollars in court cost before I can get off of probation and cannot afford this additional cost as I have exhausted all of my savings and am only dependent now on Social Security Disabilty . All of this because my daughter told my mudder in law that she saw mommy and daddy having sex , the mudder in law then reported this to the police , in turn to DCF ....

His best advice to me was “a good attorney knows the law, a great attorney knows the judges”. He was incredible!

More experience in criminal law then anyone in town, he loves to fish also.
