George H Forman

I was slightly surprised about the general reviews of H. Forman which I think are a little too critical. I like smoked salmon and have tasted many supermarket products which are ok ! So I have to say this one stands out for sure and I wondered why. So I went there to figure it out. I got the DLR to Pudding Mill Lane which is actually next to the ABBA arena (useful), As there were rain showers predicted, I decided to take an electric bike, a five minute journey instead of a 15 minute walk to Forman, I would recommend it as it’s nice & fun. The salmon which I preordered was ready for me to pick up but When I arrived they showed me around, which you can book a tour. It was Fascinating and insightful and good to know what goes into the packet. Since I had a had a dinner party to attend for which I bought salmon, Everybody loved it and it was a nice talking point. So tasting wise, It’s light, it’s less commercial tasting, it’s just stands out.

What has happened to this smoked salmon? The last batch I received was unbearably salty, to the extent that it was inedible. Has the recipe changed or was this a one-off?

Very tasty products, the smoked salmon is high quality and delicate. Lots of smoked salmon sold is far too salty, but not this place. I've lived in both golders green and near brick lane so i know my smoked salmon! As a side note I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the reviews are bogus made by bitter individuals unhappy with the CEO political views.

This is such a lovely product. We really enjoyed their salmon this Christmas and will definitely be buying more soon. The texture is what really set this salmon apart from others, along with the amazing smokiness flavour. Thanks so much H. Forman and Sons.

Poor product lacking in flavour aside from salt….. I’ve found some great Scottish and Irish smoked salmon and this doesn’t come close unfortunately.
