GODFREY, LEIBSLE, BLACKBOURN & HOWARTH, S.C., provides a full range of legal services. What makes us different is our organizational divisions, each providing legal services in limited areas coupled with a team approach to the practice of law. This philosophy has been carefully developed to ensure that you will receive prompt and personal attention. Although our lawyers may concentrate their practice in one or more legal divisions, our clients are served by the entire firm. This approach allows us to represent a wide variety of clients including major corporations, municipalities, schools, financial institutions, insurance companies, land development, public service corporations, and, of course, individuals.

Our clients receive monthly interim statements for legal services performed, whether the matter is of short or long duration. We have a firm policy, consistent with the Rules of Professional Conduct of the American Bar Association and of the State of Wisconsin, to enter into written legal representation agreements with our clients, both to define the specific scope of our engagement and to provide the method by which legal fees will be determined and will become due. Attentiveness to these details at the outset minimizes the risk of misunderstandings at a later date. Monthly interim billings also permit our clients to regularly evaluate the cost of legal representation concerning matters handled on their behalf.
