I hired Angelina Goodwin to represent me in my divorce case. She did an excellent job and I later hired her again to represent me in my fight with cps to gain custody of my grandson. I thought the price was a little high, but you get what you pay for. I paid for excellence and that’s what I got. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a good chance at winning their Divorce case. I was a young soon to be single black man who won custody of my four kids

I was thoroughly disappointed with Angelina Gooden. I would never recommend her to anyone. She was rude and condescending to me. Child custody is an emotional battle and she fought for my ex helped his lawyer drag our case on for 10 months. Angelina submitted unfinished paperwork that i am now bound to. She ignored my pleads for the mandatory use of the court's online communication. When my money began to run dry Angelina pushed to end without a proper resolution. Everything i asked she denied. My ex got everything. Now i am dealing with a man who returns his son to an unattended car and drives off. Angelina has forced me to retain the services of a new attorney who will modify the order as i have begged. After speaking with 5 all saying she screwed me..i am happy to move on and sever ties with her forever. Dont waste your money with a cash focused attorney. Seek a results focused attorney...shop around. Truly disappointed

I strongly do not recommend this firm! They are a husband and wife team that are conspiring together to defraud. I wish I could give Elijah a negative number for his rating. I have no idea how he received his credentials to become an attorney. DO NOT pay him any money or sign any contracts. He took my retainer, did absolutely no work, refused to give me any type of refund, and constantly evaded my calls. He did not do basic duties that you expect an attorney to perform. In the end I had to hire another attorney. My new attorney was less expensive, but worked patiently to make sure the outcome of my case was favorable for me. After seeing the work my new attorney performed, I was even more upset at the lack of effort and lack of concern Elijah gave to my case. He is only interested in collecting money. I strongly do not recommend him as an attorney. It would be better to represent yourself than to hire him. Elijah is the WORST ATTORNEY EVER!

Angelina is a Blessing to anyone that has her as a Amicus Atty or Attorney! When to people are fighting for custody in my case n who do not get along learn how to Co-Parent n raise an Intellegent, Bright n Respectful Man because of the excellent advise and training given by Angelina Gooden need I say more! She is very respectful, caring n knowledgeable to not only the law, but life n what children need to advance in this horrible world!!!

Elijah Gooden is a fraud!! He is a money hungry, uncaring attorney. When we first initially met with him and told him about our case, he "seemed" eager to help us, but that all came tumbling down as soon as he didn't get paid fast enough. I gave Elijah Gooden $2150 of the $5000 he asked for. I am a single parent and I don't have $5000 just laying around. Now, we only met up to discuss the case ONCE. Other than that I sent emails, pictures, and only spoke to him briefly about the case when I gave him the $2150. We had an appointment (that he set up) to view some info about our case, and when we got there he was gone to lunch with a colleague. We had to call him for a court day that he forgot about, and he was very rude and condescending when confronted about talking about money and not the case. He would not allow us to pay him out and requested to be removed from our case. Please save yourself heartache, wasted time, and money. FIND A WORTHY ATTORNEY that truly cares.
