It was a bit of a disappointing experience for our company, in the tech industry. We're small, so our work was done by Rachel Samec, a junior attorney. Kind of a "the client is always wrong" experience, lots of argumentation. Yep, we're wrong a lot, but not always. A kind of weird aspect is that Samec's boss, Brett Schuman, is an expert in the legal cannabis industry, and this made us uncomfortable ethically, but also because we're in a federally regulated business and cannabis isn't legal with the feds yet. There were some minor billing discrepancies which we worked out. Best thing we can say is we learned some lessons and we just were not a good "fit" for this firm.
