Reviews

I wish I could leave no stars. Very unprofessional people. Very hard to work with. Their phone system is terrible and "drops" me most times that I call. They will not respond via email except to say to call the office. Even other lawyers told me they are terrible to work with so they are not even respected amongst their peers. Employee reviews are not very good. Most of the good reviews on Indeed do not look authentic, and the majority of the reviews are not good. I realize I only had to deal with G&A because of a debt of mine but if I had a choice, it would be to steer very clear of this law firm. If I had the means to fight back, I would. I think they count on people not being able to fight back.
I received a letter on May 19th stating that they were offering me a cheaper deal to pay off my debt but it had to be paid by May 15th. LOL! I'll just say discover uses this company as a scare tactic to get people their debt. I checked my email account for emails from this company and all I had was emails for job offers at their call center. Again LOL! Communication is a huge issue with this place, also it's a law firm and when u call them, there is an automatic recording that states "this is not a lawyer, this is a debt collection agency" again LOL. If you are dealing with this place be proactive and get it over with, so glad I don't have to deal with them anymore. What a joke
Worst collection agency ever. They pretend to practice law.
Attorney will use legal system against anyone who cannot afford an attorney and who isn’t knowledgeable or prepared to fight them in court. Be prepared to either not have a job or to fight them in court. they do not care if you can actually afford to pay them or not.
Just an absolutely terrible debt collector. My wages were recently garnished due to an old debt, no biggie I’m happy to pay what I owe, but they miscalculated my garnishment by $151 dollars and submitted another garnishment writ after my company thought I was paid in full. For $151 dollars?? Really? Why not just call me and ask me to pay it? Now they are charging me an additional $500 plus for attorneys fees for the $151 dollar underpayment.. this means they charged over $1000 in attorneys fees for a $2000 debt. Ridiculous….all they had to do was tell me I still owed them $151 bucks and I would have happily paid it….there is a special place in hell for these types of people.
