I hired Attorney Heather Gurley for my divorce which had been going on for almost two years prior to obtaining her. I was really impressed with Ms. Gurley's ability to navigate through my horrendous divorce. She was very knowledgeable and supportive. 3 1/2 ??s We were up against formidable opponents. Ms. Gurley did contribute to the funds my kids and I ended up with. However, I received no alimony after 1/4 century of marriage / 34 year relationship. I would’ve benefited from more thorough (rather than brief) communication and education on certain aspects. I’d advise anyone getting a divorce to bring in a mediator early on to save finances, time, emotional stress, and frustration.

I was worried about how my divorce would go, particularly since my ex-wife was an attorney. Heather made me feel comfortable from the beginning. Her extensive experience and legal knowledge was invaluable in helping me to understand what twists and turns we might possibly encounter. She kept the process on track and I could not have been happier with the final result. I recommend her without reservation.
