I can't speak to the attorneys in this office but the title company that operates out of this office is the worst I have ever experienced. They are rude, do not respond timely to anything and overall are horrible to work with. Save yourself the aggravation and go with a different title company.

I’m an experienced real estate broker that appreciates and can relies on experienced real estate attorneys, Title agents and 1031 exchange agents for their expertise, care and attention to details with simple and complex transactions for my client’s.

I didn’t have a great experience with this firm. Andrea Bleau wrote me a contract for working with a residential builder. She didn’t agree with the a lot of the changes we requested because she didn’t think they adequately protected me. Still, I needed a contract that the builder would sign in order to get my loan. She stopped responding to my requests and didn’t finish the contract. I didn’t get an explanation for the lack of response. I paid the other party’s attorney to finish the job and closed late on the loan. In the end, I paid this firm several thousand dollars. I know it’s hard to find a real estate attorney in Austin. So before working with this firm, I’d just ask for references. Ideally, speak with a client who they helped in a similar capacity. If the firm finished the job with that client, even better!

HMB Title helped me navigate a SF home purchase. In addition to processing my title, they were proactive in helping me understand details of the contract and they guided (nudged) me when I needed to follow up with the lender, seller's agent, insurance, etc. I had a short closing window but the property was researched thoroughly and they helped me meet all deadlines.
