My family recently used Fred Niemann of Hanlon Niemann & Wright for a Medicaid application, estate planning documents and a trust. Throughout the difficult Medicaid process, Mr. Niemann and his paralegal, Diane, were wonderful to work with. They answered our endless questions promptly and showed a lot of patience with us - we had so many questions but they never made us feel like we were a bother. Medicaid is a complicated and stressful process. I can't thank Mr. Niemann and Diane enough for their kindness, professionalism and support. It certainly made the process a little easier for our family. I highly recommend using Hanlon Niemann & Wright for your legal needs.

Very dissatisfied, paid $4764 for "correspondence" and then they abruptly drop the case? Scammed!

They waited until after we’d paid their hefty consult fee to tell us that they were suddenly understaffed and would not be able to do the work we wanted to hire them for in a reasonable amount of time. We only received this information after several days of poor communication from the office. If we hadn’t been persistent, I’m not sure we ever would’ve found out at all. When they did deign to get back to us, it was only to tell us we could either wait a month for the work to get done or we could take our business elsewhere. In other words, these people charged us a couple hundred bucks so they could explain how they could help us out with what we needed… only to turn around a few weeks later and tell us they were too busy for us - after having to repeatedly email them to even get a response. Considering the importance of what we needed them for and their poor communication, we decided to find someone more appropriately equipped to actually work with their clients in a timely manner. They were, of course, more than happy to keep the hefty consult fee. I strongly advise against “consulting” with these people. They’ll charge you for the privilege of a Zoom meeting with them - and only decide afterwards if they actually have any time for you. And if you’re very very lucky, you’ll only have to email them for a few days before they let you know. If you saw small-time lawyers behave like this on TV, you’d roll your eyes and call it a cliche. But nope. This office really is that bad. As you can see in their response below, they’re also perfectly willing to dox members of your family in retaliation if they don’t like what you post about them - and to perform all kinds of logical gymnastics in order to cast themselves in a better light. Total sharks.

I live in Massachusetts and watched a NJ Elder Care Law video from Attorney, Fred Niemann on-line when I was researching a firm to handle my mom's Medicaid application in NJ. I had to find a firm that I could trust would handle the process fairly while giving me a sense of security that I needed having never been through this process. I received the professional expertise of the firm with precise attention given to my mom's application. I had constant contact with the paralegal who worked on my mother's case as well as Attorney Niemann. There was trust and open communication with Lorrianne Banach and Diane Fanok who both worked tirelessly on my mom's behalf. Lorrianne has recently retired and her efforts as well as Diane's have not gone unnoticed by me, my husband, and family. I cannot thank Hanlon, Niemann and Wright, PC enough for their illustrious work, unmatched care, and attention to detail. Towards the end of this filing, I felt like Lorrianne Banach was a family member to me because she was so kind and considerate. I am happy to report thanks to the firm my mom was approved for Medicaid.
