My wife was turned away at the GIANT Center gate for DISNEY ON ICE because she was not allowed to bring in a diaper bag. Unlike the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Busch Gardens, and any airport I've ever been through with our kids, the GIANT Center expects all diaper bags to be 12x12x6 - WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. We have two children in diapers and a child with severe food allergies who requires medication, EpiPens, and his own food/snacks that are free of cross-contamination risk. This diaper bag policy is positively absurd. I spoke to the head of security, Kyle, who disagrees and is unwilling to see the policy as unnecessarily burdensome on families. My family was not the only unhappy one; several others in the parking lot were also frustrated and unnecessarily inconvenienced. We will never go back to the GIANT Center (or Hershey, if the parks have the same policy) as long as we have children in diapers. We refuse to purchase a smaller diaper bag just to meet GIANT Center 's ridiculous standards!
