Higbee & Associates

Higbee & Associates is not a good firm at all. I tried to seal a minor case with them in the state of New York. They gave me a monthly payment. When I told them that I would like to pay in full, so, my case can start and finish sooner, they said no. It has to be in installment. Why? your guess is as good as mine. After I waited for almost 2 years and we went to court their attorney was not ready. Not only my seal was denied but the wait for almost 2 years was completely unnecessary. The only good thing they have is that they answer your emails within 48 hours. Don't hire them unless you want to waste money and time.

Scammers. My business was sent two copyright infringement notices for images used on a resale website that we have no control over or affiliation with (the site features a play on my business name and uses my business's contact info). When I called to inform them they sent the notices to the wrong party, I was told we're still responsible for the infringement and we need to pay up. Totally uprofessional on the phone and 100% a shakedown firm.

How sad. I used them before and had great results. I can't even get the case numbers from my background search. They said I was convicted in Florida. I asked for proof because it did not happen. Crickets. I'm sad because this could have helped me. They said this case is closed. What a waste of money. Judge Judy would set them straight.

Mr. Noriega has been very helpful so this review has nothing to do with him. Mr. Lee Mendoza on the other hand is incredibly unprofessional. He attacks personally and without regard to understanding an entire situation. He is not an attorney - which is fine -- but he pretends to be one. He is predatory and nasty without any compassion for small business owners who may unknowingly use an image. I respect artists and their craft, but people like Mendoza should be fired. I had to file a police report on him for harassment.

Higbee and Associates assisted me on a more complex matter involving past a Court case. They were informative and efficient throughout the entire almost 1 1/2 years of legal assistance (lengthily timing no fault of their own). They worked to clear the matter, which was granted by the Court. They are extremely experienced! Outstanding job! Thank you!
