I hired Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym after I was involved in an auto accident. The individual that hit me was intoxicated and left the scene of the accident. I began working with the insurance company of the other driver, to try and the matter on my own. They downgraded the value of my vehicle, wanted me to stop my doctor appointments, and then offered a very small amount of compensation for my injuries. They didn't seem very concerned about my injury. Prior to this experience, I had never hired an attorney or been involved in a lawsuit, so I was hesitant to start this process. I heard from a friend that Mark Dym was the best in the business, so I called him. He handled everything. Mark set me up with a new doctor and contacted the insurance company. I was then sent to rehab at ATI physical therapy. After approximately 6 weeks of therapy, I felt markedly better. I also received a settlement that was 5 times the amount originally offered by the insurance company. Mark is patient, thoughtful, and extremely intelligent. He is all about the little guy and advocates and fights for what is right. After this experience and the service provided by Mark and his team, I will never hire a different law firm. I believe it was destined for me to meet Bill solely by accident so my life can change 180 degrees. I was randomly selected for a diversity visa (DV) and I wanted to adjust my status (AoS) while in the US as I had a job with an H1-b visa then. Initially, I filed my DS-260 application requesting to have my DV interview in a consulate outside the US. But, because of COVID, consular interviews were delayed and I found a job in the USA in June. I have consulted many attorneys who were not excited to take my case as AoS takes 1-2 years while I only had 3 months for my case to get approved.
