he bonded me out of Dallas county told me to give me 5000 and pay him 500 every month in dec 2023 I got out first week of January and was paying him 500 monthly I had two charges he was working on he told me I was getting probation from the jump I got out on a monitor we went back in front of the judge April and he let me off the monitor for good behavior, I had a job and was doing good no pos test for drugs or alcohol . So I get off the monitor and was constantly paying him cause he was telling me I’m getting probation because I never had it and I been doing good and my babies need me etc just stay out of trouble so all of a sudden he tell me I have to go open plea I told him I don’t want to go open plea he told me I have to or I’m going to prison so ofc he’s my lawyer I’m thinking he for me he said I was getting probation so I’m like cool I’ll go open plea I went to court July my original judge wasn’t there he say I will let you in front of the judge today but he will sentenced you your judge is my friend that’s why he let you off monitor he ain’t gone send u to prison so we push court date off he say come pay your last payment Friday ! I payed him 10k total he said I still owed him but I felt he was on some janky slick stuff so I didn’t come pay him Friday court got push back to August I went open plea the he wasn’t really saying anything on my behalf face was turning red looking frustrated and they sentenced me 8 years I think he knew the whole time they was sending me to prison I said dang you told me probation he told me good luck ! I went to prison and got a new lawyer and got out on probation 7 months later !

I’m from Alabama my son had a felony charge Mr Humphrey had his charges drop to a misdemeanor with time served! I was so happy because my son would had to sit in Dallas County jail and wait for a court date. Laura Peterson is the best juvenile defense attorney you can find in Texas. She helped my little brother, who was falsely accused, and faced felony charges. She was very patient with us and explained everything in the best way in order for me to be able to translate to my Spanish speaking mom.
