Reviews

Have been using Husch Blackwell for many years and they are always very professional and top notch. Our firm has worked with Jim Miles & Steve Levine as our lead counsel and they coordinate with other firm members when topical expertise is needed. Would, and have, recommend the firm to anyone needing legal counsel.
My worst legal experience ever. I hired Kevin Peters, JD, whom I believe is a partner at the firm, on retainer and he was aloof and worthless. I found him to lack major knowledge in the field of contract and health care law. He was vague and overbilled big time. I asked simple questions and I literally got back an 8 page dissertation on my question, that in the end said it is a grey area of law. I was charged over $2000 for this piece of garbage that I didn't ask for. I learned my lessons that Kevin Peters and Husch are terrible, and that I should never put someone on retainer. I assumed I would be told before an 8 page document was drawn up by an attorney about a question. I also lost $10,000s due to Kevin missing items on contracts. Beware.
WORST LEGAL EXPERIENCE EVER! From the very start we were given misguided information that we took as the industry's best. So we followed our counsel down a long dark path that only lead to the lawyer receiving a lot of money and myself with nothing to show for it. Even when I tried to take matters into my own hands and had the lawyer review my work she rewrote it and it lead to the demise of my case. My version I did without a law degree was far superior. I spoke with a different lawyer and found out that most of my advice was incorrect and was only leading to a high bill from the lawyer. Then when I discussed it with the lawyer and how upset I was she billed me for that as well. My advice - find anyone else.
