I am on an HOA board, and I had a very unpleasant experience in working with this attorney. First, I thought he was unprofessional. For example, he showed up late at our last meeting. He lost my confidence when he said his advice was based on case law, but then was unable to remember the name of the case he was relying upon. Second, he seemed to have very little interest in persuading me to see things his way. Instead, he seemed to think that I should automatically agree with whatever he said even if his recommendations were not properly backed up by research or case law. Third, I felt he did not understand how the Business Judgment Rule (BJR) creates a presumption that directors' decisions are based on sound business judgment. When pressed, he would be come defensive and suggest that I should follow his recommendation simply because of his years of experience. I found that to be an unimpressive argument. Finally, I feel he lacked compassion. I felt like he was too busy insisting that I follow his values, to deeply appreciate my values and how they were different. Given my experiencer, I'm not surprised that other reviewers give him a low rating. I'm happy to contribute my one star as well.

If you're looking for a reliable and knowledgeable attorney, look no further than Denise Iger. I have had the pleasure of working with her firm and I can confidently say that she always goes above and beyond to provide excellent guidance. Denise is extremely accessible and I have always been impressed with her responsiveness. Whenever I need her help or advice, she is there for me. Her expertise is top-notch.

Stay away from these attorneys. They are corrupt and incompetent. On their advice, our HOA pursued a several years long lawsuit that resulted in our HOA having to pay out hundreds and thousands of dollars in settlement and legal fees on a frivolous lawsuit. They also provide questionable legal counsel to the boards and actively work against the benefit of homeowners.

I have come to expect, and always receive, timely communications from this firm. I have found Denise Iger to be thoughtful and intelligent in the advice that she provides.

Do not go there. This lawyer is incredibly incompetent and harassed clients. I have had the displeasure of dealing with Daniel Wankel and he is the worst lawyer I have ever come across. BEWARE! STAY AWAY OF YOU DON’T WANT TO REGRET IT.
