Contacted this law firn based on the positive reviews left by others. I am glad I did. My mom was awarded half of my dads life insurance in their divorce 20 years ago. He recently passed. The insurance denied ago claim.as he left his second spouse all of his benefits. Within four weeks we reached a settlement with his second spouse avoiding court. I highly recommend Michael Hoover. He was very responsive in contacting us quickly each time we emailed. Best part is my mom's very ill and everything was done via email Or fax. We never had to travel or meet ( in covid times) face to face.

We engaged the services of Michael Hoover to assist us with an emotionally fraught and legally complex situation involving the denial of an accidental death rider on a life insurance policy and a separate accidental death policy. He guided us through the process of submitting an appeal to the insurance company, which was denied, and then filing suit, which we won. Michael Hoover and his team were a blessing to me! My husband died twenty two months ago. His one life insurance policy was set with his ex-wife as beneficiary, per their divorce decree from 2000 in the state of Virginia. As soon as my husband died, I started receiving calls from that insurance company practically badgering me for information and for me to sign off on documents which said I was not allowed any payment from this. I thought the policy was all cut and dried. I took everything from this insurance company to my attorney including notes on the phone calls.
