James J Brearton

We met with James Brearton last night to make out a will. I never met a more disorganized and rude person. It states on the website that you get a free consultation but when you get there he won't even talk to you until you give him $275 in cash or by check. They don't take credit cards. We didn't have the amount needed in cash and we didn't have our checkbook. He told us to go to the ATM and get the money and come back. My husband had $150 in cash and gave him that. He then talked to us but reminded us that we still owed $125. My husband asked how long he would be there that he would run to our house around the corner and he said 5 minutes. My husband told him it would take 10-15. He didn't like that response but that's what we did. Needless to say we wasted our time and money and got nothing for it! We would never go back to this law office and would recommend that people stay far away. James Brearton is a jerk!!

At first James Brearton's office seemed alright. The secretary made it seem like they knew what they were doing and that you were going to be kept in the know. After they get your information they go dark. After reaching out many times you might get a message that is a sentence long and might not even answer the question you asked. After months of nothing you might get contacted about something they sent out that you were never told about. Overall this office makes you feel like nothing and rather not keep you updated unless you constantly ask for updates. Would not recommend unless you are desperate.

I was truly fortunate in being represented by James J Brearton. My traffic ticket case has been personally conducted by the aforementioned Attorney with incredible professionalism and care. Specifically, he’s shown a constant interest on any, even little and apparently not so important, developments of my legal file. He did a terrific job with an outstanding outcome. Mr. Brearton prepared a will, health care proxy, power of attorney and living trust for myself and my wife; he was punctual, courteous and very professional; I would recommend him to anyone

I think this attorney forgot that he works for us not the other way around! Most unprofessional person I have ever encounter. Rude on the phone. Could not put two words in , he was in a hurry and sure made sure to let me know that. Avoid this law firm if you want to be treated with respect. Again don’t forget you work for us Mr Brearton, NOT the other way around
