You get what you pay for, I paid nothing therefore- I contacted this firm because I was wrongfully terminated by my employer along with other Labor Law violations back on 10/2021. They said I had a case, and took my case. They filed a motion with the FEHA/Right to Sue and said they would represent and defend me. A total of 15 months later, and one appointment with the Defense Attorney and they dropped my case cold. Weak Sauce. With out any input from me, back and forth with me, or facts from me, cares about FEHA time limits, or violated Labor and Employment Laws. Facts. They fell for the Defense Attorney's hearsay, hazari, and chickened out so quick, it was pathetic. Cause the Defense Attorney plays fair and honest. Not. They play dirty. Naive. And did me dirty/fought back. This place had no intention of representing me and already had one foot out the door. In an email prior to meeting with the Defense Attorney they said "depending on what the defense side says we might have to drop your case". Red Flag. After patiently waiting for months on JLG they aborted my case like nothing, and literally wasted precious time limits on my case, and have possibly ruined my case since no Attorney wants to touch a previous Attorney's case. JLG misrepresented themselves to me. They let me down, their face changed, and they acted like I was guilty of untruths/not transparent about subjective statements presented by Defense Attorney designed to discredit and vilify me; instead of doing their job, paying attention to details, standing by me and defending me. I was revictimized. Attorney Amanda Collins' go to excuse is there was a "communication error" for the majority and even blames the client(me). When they are the ones with a communication problem. Buyer beware, I am full of regret picking this law firm. Find an ethical law firm with a backbone cause this is NOT it. They do not care about the little guy as advertised. They do not return phone calls as others have mentioned. And the positive reviews are fake, written by JLG paralegals and staff Attorneys. I saw both my paralegal and former Attorney's names. And in shopping for a new Law Firm, I've had quite a few Attorneys state how unprofessional and unethical of JLG Lawyers for dropping my case in the manner they did. Furthermore, Attorney Amanda Collins graduated in 2021, she is still wet behind the ears or inexperienced, which explains much. I will be filing an ethics complaint with the Bar Association. Update- in looking at my Case File notes, Amanda Collins' wrote on 1/23/23 "I find the client untrustworthy" on the same day I was having a medical emergency. Which she was aware of and the reason why I couldn't drop everything for her. She discriminated against me because she was pissed I said no. And Attorney Traci Hindon states in notes "oh she was a bad employee" which is the #1 excuse employers give to get out of a lawsuit. Common Defense Attorney trick. If I was such a bad employee, why did my former employer keep me for three years. No cognitive thinking skills. Dont need a law degree or JD to figure this one out. This law firm and their Attorneys have discredited my name, reputation, and disparaged my Case. Stay away. Unhappiness :-(

I opened a case back in March 2022 against a company that wrongfully terminated me. I spoke with different law firms and I was told that I definitely had a case. It's been months since I haven't talked with anyone from this law firm or any lawyer. When I do call they lie and say that I would get a call back in a month and I NEVER do! In my opinion if you are a lawyer you should most definitely reach out to your clients for updates on your case. Not once did anyone call me! I always have to call them for ANY kind of update. Horrible, horrible service. Very disappointed!

Liana & Darby and the whole JLG Team are awesome! Liana was willing to have phone meetings with us after regular work hours and responded to our texts throughout the day. She went above and beyond for us. She took the time to explain law terms in a way that we could understand. And Darby was hospitable and so incredibly welcoming when we went into the office to sign papers. Liana and Darby were very professional and responded to our emails in a timely manner.
