For over thirty-five years Jay Goldstein has been my dentist. I’ve brought him a number of challenges over the years, and he has managed to meet each one with a consistently professional expertise that I find remarkable. He is on top of every technological advance in the industry, and has adopted a number of them that make his practice unique in client service—e.g., crowns made in-house and placed the same day—and so many more. Jay always offers options, and makes recommendations in layman’s terms, and does so with an emphasis on the long-term benefits to my overall health. And, he does all this with warmth, humor, intelligence, and, in my case, an at-hand array of records and x-rays that gives him the total history of the work done on every tooth. I couldn’t be in better hands. As one might expect, Jay’s staff is top-notch. If someone needs to see a dentist, why shouldn’t the whole experience be as engaging as possible? He has provided a staff and created a physical environment that make going for a dental procedure as enjoyable an event as it can possibly be. In itself that is extraordinary. Only in the last six years have I had dental insurance. Over the decades, as a self-paying patient, I could have found any number of dentists who would have done any of the work for less, but I knew I would never find a better dentist, and that is still true.
