Courtney was AMAZING. I work with professionals and attorneys every day in work, and have high expectations for people in the legal field... and Courtney is truly one of the best top notch attorneys that you could work with! She represented our kids that we were adopting, and when our attorney (from another firm totally unrelated) failed on every item SHE took up the reins and gave us the support to keep on going and helped us more through the process than our own attorney did. She was compassionate yet determined, and truly had the kids interest at heart. She has the guts to push where needed, and has the experience and court contacts to make things happen and keep the process moving. From a lay persons viewpoint, we couldn't have asked for someone better to have working towards the same goal - getting the adoption done for our kids. I can honestly say I will forever appreciate her and what she did for us. I hired attorney Jonathan Hassell, who at the time worked for this firm. I hired this attorney for my son. Jonathan is the stereotypical bad divorce attorney. He took an all talk, no action approach and did everything he could to separate me from my money. He mediated a terrible deal for his own client and a great deal for the opposition. My son said he almost yelled at him in mediation "who's attorney are you, anyway"? He is that bad. We went to J. Moffett about out concerns but he really did not care. Jonathan Hassell is a very poor attorney and Moffett law firm is a very poor law firm.

I hired an attorney from this firm for my son. The attorney's name is Jonathan Hassell. At the time of hire, he worked for this firm. J. Moffet was contacted about our concerns and stood by Jonathan. He provided very poor representation. He cost thousands and lost thousands. He promised an aggressive approach but instead he took an all talk no action approach and backed down quickly at mediation costing thousands. On countless occasions he emailed requests for phone calls, talked about anything and everything; sometimes he did talk about the case but many times it was not important. He charged for the calls he requested. He did this for quite a while until he was questioned on whether he actually planned on doing anything, specifically what he said he was going to do. There are other questionable charges as well. I submitted a Bar complaint against him. We will probably have to hire another attorney to fix the mess he created. We had contacted J. Moffett concerning this attorney and he stood by him. Though, Jonathan worked for this firm at the time of hire and does not now, I was assured he left on good terms, and in fact per my invoice the whole firm was involved in this case.

Jed and his team were extremely knowledgeable and discrete. They took the time to thoroughly explain my rights and were very attentive to the details of my case. I definitely recommend them.
