Ineffective staffing and a waste of your time. A year of wasted time for a diagnosed patient with schizoeffective disorder. Paralegal never followed up on the claim after a denial from social security. She said she never recieved the denial, but somehow found the report from the Social Security doctor. WE POINTED out that the report was innacurate. Social security had the wrong race on their response and the claim was denied for vision, not mental illness. The paralegal handling the case did not even see the mistakes or even realize the case was dropped by social security until we called to let Rabin and Associates know. The lawyer handling this case was curt, not kind or compassionate. Mr. Rabin personally said he would fight for this client and never returned our telephone calls. We are filing this claim on our own and will not have to pay this firm a possible $7,000 fee. A tragic situation for a mentally ill client that was a waste of over a year's time and effort. We feel extremely misled. Seek help and guidance somewhere else. When Mr. Rabin, the owner of this firm does not respond to your phone calls, it is disheartening. Were we just a number? Mr. Rabin, how could your firm drop a case that you said you had taken a personal interest in? This client's illness escalated after the denial. We had never filed a claim with social security; we came to Rabin to make the initial filing. After the first denial, Rabin and Associates staff dropped the case. We were foolish to trust. Beware. Mr. Rabin, have you NOT responded to our calls because your staff made mistakes and they did not make you aware of the situation. Did you ever get the messages we called you? We believed in you and in your promise help us. Will you respond to this post?
