Jeffrey J. Hoskins

Dr. Hoskins is my hero. Over a period of six months I was losing sensation in my arms, hands, and legs. I could no longer drive and lost the ability to play piano and organ. My balance was greatly impaired and I experienced many falls. Once I had the diagnosis of severe cervical stenosis, Dr. Hoskins arranged an accelerated surgery date. Three weeks before the scheduled date, I was transported by paramedics to the emergency room on a Sunday night because I could no longer stand. Dr. Hoskins appeared in my hospital room at 7:00 AM on Monday morning and said we’re going to surgery now. I had the second half of the surgery a week later. By the time I reached the originally scheduled surgery date, I had been in the rehab hospital for a week after the second surgery receiving intense physical and occupational therapy. Eight months later, I have returned to my normal self, am no longer a fall risk, and have even played the organ in church. I view this as a miracle, but also a testament of Dr. Hoskins’ care and skill. His nurse practitioner and physician’s assistant did a great job as well, managing my care throughout my hospital stay, keeping the lines of communication open, and working with hospital staff to manage my discharge to rehab. I believe that Dr. Hoskins’ emergency response to my crisis was unique, for which I will always be grateful.

Had the pleasure of meeting Dr Hoskins last week and was pleased with his demeanor and professionalism that he naturally interacted with me as a new patient! He listened intently to my history and symptoms that I described and came up with a plan to get my quality of life back. As a former Paramedic of 26 years, his plan made perfect sense! I feel that I will be in good and skilled hands with Dr Hoskins

Dr. Hoskins listen to all my concerns. I'm was in soo much pain and I was afraid that my legs would collapse underneath me with every step I took. One year, 1 rod, 8 screws, and month's of physical therapy I few spectacular! I'm soo glad I had the back surgery. Thank you Dr. Hoskins for all the follow up and encouragement.

Referred to Dr. Hoskins do to severe back/left leg pain. Well versed and very experienced in his specialty! He answered ALL my questions! And he listened to my concerns. Future surgery with Dr. Hoskins is scheduled! About OAD: I would like to add that the doctors I have worked with and their staff get patients in to see the doctors quickly with needed return visits scheduled before leaving. Each doctor has their own orthopedic specialty which is a comfort to me.

I suffered bouts of sciatica over three years and finally my doctor referred me to Dr. Hoskins. In preparation for the surgery, I got to know the doctor and his assistant Jenifer Eby. I felt that I was in good hands and that attitude prevailed throughout the surgery and recovery! The doctor with his skill, focus and experience along with the grace, competence and dignity of his PA, Miss Eby has been superb. I cherish my mobility and now seven months after my surgery, I’m riding bicycles, canoeing and generally enjoying life. Thank you.
