Johanson Law was fully the reason I was able to settle a monetary dispute without going to trial. I firmly believe that Jim Johanson's reputation was a factor in my opposition coming to terms quickly- I was shocked that they did so as I expected way more pushback. I had a great experience when working with Johanson Law Group. I had two separate civil concerns which were handled swiftly upon me providing the team with all of the necessary information. We have a problem neighbor who was nothing but a nuisance; loud music blaring at all hours of the day/nigh, speakers pointed about 20 ft, or less, from our house, and owned a pack of rowdy dogs who would slip through the dilapidated fence boards and enter our property. The cherry on the top was that they had tethered multiple chicken coops to our fence where they kept multiple roosters who were just as bad, if not worse, than the music. We had diligently documented as much as possible. But, truthfully, it was so frequent that it became tedious. However, every time the bass dropped, we kept filing noise complaints. My second case I sought legal advice and aid for was regarding a previous coworker who vindictively made an OnlyFans account under my name, and was using my pictures, to sell for her own profit. It's important to note that not only is she an ex-colleague of mine, but she also works as a county official. Flattering as all this attention is, this individual was not only calling and texting my partner deceitful information; but was contacting colleagues, friends and family members impersonating me to try and make a quick buck. Because of her position, she was able to access sensitive information on both him and myself and essentially detailed our entire lives to us. There was nothing that was slightly interesting; so we were confused on what she was getting at. Nonetheless, she left a very sloppy paper trail and Johanson Law Group kindly reminded her that what she was doing was illegal. Johanson Law Group sent cease and desist letters to both parties. For the individual blackmailing me/us, we haven't heard another word from her, and hopefully she finds something better to do with her life. Regarding our neighbor debacle, we had an amazing turn of events: Two weeks ago today, we were approached by the owner of the house where our obnoxious neighbors were living. We were quite shocked to find out he and his family did not actually reside there. He let us know he received the letter and reported that he had evicted the families that lived there, and that he had no idea there were farm animals on the property. He had mentioned that they completely destroyed the interior (and exterior) of the house and it would take an extensive amount of time and money to make it livable again. We are now working together to tear down and put up a new fence which will hopefully allow us to keep communication open with one another, and we even exchanged contact information. While we know that Johanson Law Group didn't wave a wand to magically fix our issues, they were a huge asset in helping us bring attention to these issues; and made it known that we were willing to pursue them to the fullest extent. 2,500/10 stars to the entire team, and a personally shout out to Nick who made the process easy as well as made us know we were in good hands.

Jim Johanson is 2 for 2 on winning cases for me. The first case he represented me in was a Neg2 infraction Sno Dist Court SD a few years ago and that’s where I became impressed with his approach and reputation in this area. The prosecutor in my case refused to negotiate with Jim on a proposed lesser charge of speeding, which I was prepared to to do and still consider that a win in itself. So, Jim and I decided to take it all the way. From the beginning, Jim systematically dismantled their case one by one and first getting them on a technicality based on how they report the type of radar used in the ticket printout. The Judge scorned the prosecutor for the state having the print out be so confusing in court and this wasn’t the first time. Judge threw out the evidence of speeding which was 1/3 of the Neg 2 charge. Then, he called me to the stand and objected to all the “gotcha” type questions from the prosecutor in a way that killed their case. In the end the prosecutor tried to offer a plea down, but this time we had the upper hand and not too soon after we said no to the plea, the judge dismissed the entire case instead. Big WIN for me as I could not afford insurance hikes or the $1k ticket. This is where I knew I would call Jim Johanson for anything I needed. I did so again recently on a speeding ticket, and he got it dropped to a non-moving violation. I’ve contested many a ticket and can never win, yet he is 2 for 2 for me.

A+++ Highly Recommend! I cannot express my gratitude enough to the amazing people at Johanson Law Group. They got me the BEST possible results I could have gotten out of my lawsuits! I delayed in reaching out to a Lawyer for almost 2 years after my 3 car accident thinking settling with the insurance companies directly would be better than going to court. The task of finding a lawyer was daunting when combined with the constant chain of doctor appointments and the barrage of calls and forms from the insurance adjusters. I can honestly say that I wish I would have reached out sooner. They ran interference between all involved parties and kept me posted on what was happening with my case. They went above and beyond to accommodate my crazy schedule and minimize the amount of times I needed to drive down to their office. They answered every question and provided different options and potential outcomes for me. My case was a complicated one as it was a 3 car accident and my recovery did not meet the insurance adjuster’s charts as to how quickly I should bounce back. Based on the crummy settlement offers from the insurance company and my recovery costs, I had little hope that I would see a dime for a lifelong sentence of pain and suffering. I needed two separate lawsuits for the different insurance companies involved. Jim and Karianne’s knowledge and experience got me the maximum payout from BOTH policies! They were also able to convince my insurance company to waive the personal injury protection (PIP) pay back. For the 1st year after the accident I had been seeing a Physical Therapist who had some very questionable billing practices. After numerous calls, e-mails, letters and faxes they kept insisting I didn’t owe them any money even though I knew I did. The final attempt to contact them a month before the settlement produced a physical therapy bill for thousands of dollars. This sketchy billing practice did not go over well with Jim and Karianne. They fought it every step of the way and ultimately the bill was written off. While I hope to never be in a position where I need their services again, I know I have an outstanding legal team that I can reach out to if that day ever comes. I recently hired Jim Johanson to defend me in a case where Jim got the charges reduced to a minimum, at the same time I was on a 5 year deferred prosecution for a dui in a different court. I hired Jim again to help in this matter. I couldn't be more happy, jim got the charges 100% dropped!!! I would highly recommend hiring this man for whatever your troubles may be.
